Badger State Staffing is seeking a Project Crew Chief to serve as the frontline leader for a thriving Restoration organization based in the Fox Valley. This role involves supervising a small team of technicians, managing equipment and resources at the job site, and serving as the primary on-site communication link between the crew, Operations Manager, and the customer. You will ensure all work is completed to industry standard and within the defined scope and timeline.

Primary Duties :

• Lead, motivate, and manage a crew of 2-4 Restoration Technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring their performance throughout the project
• Ensure all crew members adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Conduct pre-job and post-job site inspections to ensure quality control and thoroughness
• Direct the execution of all mitigation and restoration tasks, including demolition, water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and general cleanup
• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot specialized restoration equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.)
• Act as the primary on-site point of contact
• Accurately document all job activity including photo logs, time tracking for the crew, equipment usage, and materials consumed
• Report daily progress and any on-site challenges or changes in the scope of work directly to the Operations Manager
• Manage and account for all company assets, including tools, vehicles, and specialty equipment, ensuring they are maintained, cleaned, and organized

Schedule : This is a project-based position where hours will vary week-to-week, with a minimum expectation of 32+ hours each week. Work typically begins at 7 : 15 AM, Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project demands and emergency situations.
