Reporting to a Supervisor, this position is for a senior level developer responsible for the maintenance and development of multiple complex ISBE applications; mentors junior staff; ensures development standards and procedures are followed; and leads in efforts to retire system technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains enterprise-wide applications leveraging latest technologies.
• Drives change from within IT through communication with teams regarding processes, standards, and culture.
• Mentors junior staff and provides technical guidance to project teams.
• Evaluates and recommends tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform, and ease of use for the end user.
• Collaborates with peer organizations, quality assurance and end users to produce cutting-edge software solutions.
• Assists with the analyzing of existing applications for consolidation and improvement.
• Supports a vendor selection and analysis process by evaluating vendor architecture fit within the ISBE ecosystem.
• Provides actionable ideas for innovation and business capability development using independent research and analysis of industry and technology trends.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
