Design Engineer (Frontend) – Real-Time Trading Interfaces
Role Overview
A high-performance DeFi trading platform is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to own the design and development of ultra-responsive, visually stunning trading interfaces. You’ll be building real-time systems that handle billions in volume and sub-second updates—turning trading into a team sport through social leaderboards, micro-interactions, and playful design.
This is a 0→1 product environment for engineers who thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and obsess over polish and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build pixel-perfect, performant trading interfaces
Push boundaries of CSS animations, motion design, and micro-interactions
Maintain a scalable design system (Figma + React + Tailwind)
Prototype and ship high-fidelity UI / UX with real-time performance constraints
Collaborate across product, design, and backend to launch new workflows
Optimize React apps for ultra-low latency and high-frequency updates
Ideal Candidate
5+ years of frontend engineering experience with a strong portfolio
Mastery of React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind (or equivalent stack)
Deep experience with motion libraries (Framer Motion, React Spring, etc.)
Proven ability to craft elegant micro-interactions and transitions
Strong intuition for typography, layout, rhythm, and motion
Operates as a design engineer—comfortable in both Figma and code
High agency, thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Experience building real-time, data-intensive apps (finance, trading, gaming)
Optimized React apps to sustain 60fps under extreme load
Built or contributed to design systems / component libraries
Contributions to open-source UI / animation libraries
