Job description

Southwest Medical Associates  is looking for a  BC / BE physician  with ER experience to join us on a supplemental basis in  Clifton, TX . Located 35 miles outside of Waco, TX, this hospital serves a rural community and provides top quality care for a diverse population.

  • 5 ER Beds
  • Level IV Trauma
  • Requires : ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  • Accepts 3

rd

Year Residents

  • Physicians on staff : FP 13, GS 1, IM 1
  • Volume : About 450 Monthly
  • 16% Pediatric, 28 % Geriatric, 3 % Trauma
  • EMR : Cerner
  • Shift Limit : Up to 48 hours (after first shift)
  • OB Protocol
  • Lab and X-RAY available 24 hours
  • ER physician not responsible for admission
  • Admit / Transfer Protocol
  • Moderate acuity
  • Meals provided
