The Facilities Compliance Monitor will support Plant Engineering management across the Charlotte Market, including acute care hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, ensuring that all regulatory documentation and training are current, accurate, and compliant. Key responsibilities include :
What We're Looking For We're seeking a detail-oriented, self-starting, and organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient physical environment of care.
Education and Experience : High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Management, or a related fieldor equivalent experiencepreferred. Five years experience in a healthcare setting with management responsibilities for Plant Engineering regulatory and accreditation documentation associated with federal, state, local regulations, including The Joint Commission and DNV, required. Experience supporting the Environment of Care Committee in a hospital, surgery center, long term care, or similar facility preferred. License and Certification : Valid driver's license required. Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification preferred. Skills and Abilities : Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and OSHA requirements. Ability to read and interpret building plans, Life Safety, HVAC, electrical, and fire protection systems. Proficient with Microsoft Office, and CMMS software. Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
