- Hospital-based Breast Center
- 8 am - 5 pm schedule, Monday to Friday
- Level 4 trauma designation
- No ER volume, as this is a Breast Imager position
- Powerscribe dictation into EPIC, EPIC Mammography reporting
- 1 mammography room and 2 ultrasound rooms at Silverton; 1 mammography room and 1 ultrasound room at the Imaging Center (only screening exams performed at this facility)
- 250 radiologists in the Seattle-based practice, with the Breast Imager serving as the on-site physician
- Support staff includes 2 daytime ultrasound techs, 1 mammography tech, and 1 breast navigator
- Breast navigator assists in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and helps schedule follow-up care for mammography patients
- Teleradiology is not an option for this position- is used for diagnostic radiology exams, but not for breast imaging
- Adult patient demographic.
