About Brightside
Brightside Speech Therapy is an in-home and in-school pediatric therapy clinic that serves families in Contra Costa County. We are growing rapidly and are excited to add a personable, motivated pediatric occupational therapist to our team. We specialize in early intervention services but are open to a wide range of skills and experiences. Job Summary
Candidates can provide therapy on a full or part-time basis, including the option of 4, 10-hour days. Our therapists will work in-home or in-school, including daycare or private preschool environments.
Salary : $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose functional delays and disorders in children from birth to adolescence using both standardized and informal assessments
- Create and implement evidence-based individualized treatment plans to address the specific goals related to fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, emotional regulation, and daily living skills using a play-based and family-centered approach
- Provide education and parent / caregiver coaching to families and other professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
- Work collaboratively with professionals from other disciplines on a child’s therapy team

Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programCurrent and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California (or applicable state)NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certificationValid driver's license and reliable transportation (for in-home or community-based visits, if applicable)Ability to commute between families’ homes and schoolsExcellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to therapyAbility to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plansStrong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionalsPreferred
