  • Position Overview
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled
  • PC Technician
  • to support lab operations focused on benchmarking and performance analysis of HP and competitor systems (including Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, and Apple). This role requires strong PC hardware and software skills, basic proficiency in productivity tools, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced lab environment.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of PC hardware and software, including operating systems and applications.
  • Replace and upgrade hardware components such as memory, storage drives, and peripherals.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining lab equipment for testing and benchmarking purposes.
  • Use basic tools like
  • Excel
  • and
  • OneNote
  • to document test results, procedures, and observations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to execute benchmark tests and performance comparisons.
  • Follow established protocols and receive training from HP on benchmarking methodologies and lab procedures.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with PC hardware assembly, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to install and configure software and applications across various platforms.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and OneNote for documentation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with multiple PC brands and operating systems (Windows, macOS preferred).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Pay and Benefits

    • The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
