Senior Cloud Data Engineer

Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Cloud Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Quincy, MA (Hybrid)

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-based data pipelines using AWS and Snowflake.

Rate Range : $70 / hour to $75 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based data pipelines using AWS, Snowflake, and Informatica (IICS) to support centralized and decentralized data architectures.
• Lead re-platforming of legacy systems (e.g., SAS, traditional databases) to modern cloud data platforms, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies, including HIPAA and SOC report evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define requirements, validate solutions, and drive project execution.
• Monitor and optimize cloud data solutions, establishing performance assessments and action plans.
• Document cloud data engineering strategies and best practices and provide technical leadership in system design and delivery.

Pay Details : $70.00 to $75.00 per hour
