Overview

Raleigh General Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. This position is ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic, high-acuity environments and are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care during extended day-to-night shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, including triage, assessment, and treatment.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and perform necessary procedures.

Document patient information accurately and promptly in electronic medical records.

Respond effectively to emergency situations with sound clinical judgment.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia or compact state eligibility.

Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience preferred.

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
