The Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) Technology division is responsible for enabling and evolving Capital One's foundational cloud infrastructure layer, including observability, connectivity, resilience and availability.

About the team : As a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management (TPM) on Capital One's Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering organization, we're looking for someone with experience in leading large scale complex programs spanning across multiple lines of business and divisions, partnering with both business and product teams to deliver against technology intent for the integration of two highly diverse technology ecosystems. In addition to the technical program, you will work to pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team, by leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what a great TPM can achieve.

Our TPM Sr. Managers have :

• Strong technical backgrounds (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services) with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery lifecycle
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
• A quantitative approach to problem solving and a collaborative implementer to holistic solutions; a systems thinker
• Ability to simplify the technically complex and drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives
• Deep focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and results
• Exceptional cross-team collaboration; able to work across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done
• Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listener, and deep seated empathy for teams and partners

Salary ranges (by location) :

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered will be reflected in the offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and / or long-term incentives (LTI).
