This is a contractor role — part-time in Portsmouth, NH. Applicants must be local. Vital is looking for a creative, organized, and motivated part-time video editor role of up to 20 hours per week. You’ll work closely with our Studio Department manager, project managers, clients, and the creative team to edit and deliver a wide range of video projects. This position is hybrid, with occasional access to footage at our Portsmouth office during business hours. You’ll need your own editing setup, though we can provide a hard drive for remote work.

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years of video editing experience (professional, freelance, or academic)
• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (or similar editing software)
• Familiarity with Resolve’s Fusion and Color tools a plus
• Basic audio editing skills
• An eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work on time
• Knowledge of short-form content, social trends, and best practices
• Strong communication skills and openness to collaboration and feedback

Bonus skills (nice to have, not required)
