We are looking for a Legal Administrator who is very organized and takes the initiative to join our legal team from home. The perfect person will help lawyers with their paperwork, keep track of client records, and help the legal department run smoothly. You can work from home, which gives you more freedom and a better work-life balance.
Main Duties : Write, read, and process legal documents, letters, and contracts.
Keep track of case files, electronic document management systems, and client records.
Set up meetings, hearings, and depositions, and keep track of lawyers' schedules.
Do legal research and gather information as needed.
Talk to clients, outside lawyers, and court officials as needed.
Help with billing, invoicing, and keeping track of legal expenses.
Make sure that you follow all relevant laws, rules, and company policies.
Help with the onboarding and training of new legal staff.
Always keep things private and follow the rules about data privacy.
Qualifications : A degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field (an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred).
At least two years of experience in legal administration, paralegal support, or a similar job.
You should be able to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), document management software, and virtual meeting tools like Zoom and Teams.
Great at keeping things organized and paying attention to small things.
Good at talking and writing.
Ability to set priorities and finish tasks on time.
Having worked from home before is a plus.
