Job Title : Warehouse Selector

\n Location :  Alcoa, TN 37701

\n Pay Rate : $22 per hour

\n Type : Temp-to-Hire (150-day contract)

\n Schedule : Sunday–Thursday (with occasional Fridays); average 9.5-hour shifts, approximately 45–48 hours per week

\n Shift Hours : Sunday 5 : 00 PM–completion | Monday–Thursday 6 : 00 PM–completion

Our Warehouse Selectors play a vital role in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe, clean, and team-oriented work environment.

\n Main Ingredients of the Job \n\n \n\t

• \n\t

Safely and accurately select customer orders according to order sheets.

\n\t\n\t

Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards.

\n\t\n\t

Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate an electric pallet jack safely.

\n\t\n\t

Move products from racks to pallets using order selecting software and equipment.

\n\t\n\t

Validate that the correct product is selected and free of damage .

\n\t\n\t

Deliver products to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap palletized orders .

\n\t\n\t

Clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets , and return pallet jacks to the charging area.

\n\t\n\t

Work effectively in a high-paced, team-oriented environment .

\n\t\n

\n\n

\n Physical Requirements \n\n \n\t

Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5°F to over 100°F .

\n\t\n\t

Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 20–80+ lbs. of product repetitively.

\n\t\n\t

Move 1,000+ cases of product per shift .

\n\t\n\t

Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

\n\t\n

\n\n

\n What You Bring to the Table \n\n \n\t

Ability to read and communicate in English to understand safety instructions, training materials, and labels.

\n\t\n\t

Willingness to work night shifts (Sunday–Thursday, 6 : 00 PM until completion), with occasional weekends or holidays as needed.

\n\t\n\t

Recent experience (within the last 6 months) in high-endurance or physically demanding work (e.g., construction, farming, sports, patient transfer, warehouse work, etc.) preferred.

\n\t\n\t

Experience in warehouse order selection or distribution center operations preferred.

\n\t\n\t

Experience operating motorized pallet jacks or similar warehouse equipment preferred.

\n\t\n\t

Must be coachable , punctual , and have a positive attitude .

\n\t\n

\n Training and Development \n\n \n\t

Full training is provided on all job duties, safety procedures, and equipment operation .

\n\t\n\t

Training duration : approximately 2 weeks , followed by gradual integration into full work duties.

\n\t\n
