Interested in joining us on our journey? As a GE Appliances Tax Analyst, you'll play a key role in keeping our business compliant and financially strong.
In this role, you'll support both the Direct and Indirect Tax functions including state income tax, sales & use tax, property tax, and credits and incentives with everything from preparing journal entries and account reconciliations to driving tax filings and payments. You'll dig into tax data, help resolve variances, maintain reporting schedules, and provide insights for internal and external reporting. You'll assist in preparing corporate income tax returns, maintaining compliance documentation, and tracking state tax credits and state-specific modifications.

Professional Contribution :
Educational and Experiential Background
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2-3 years prior relevant experience. Actively working toward CPA and meet the eligibility requirements to sit for the CPA exam. Must be willing and able to work onsite in the office.
Preferred Education / Experience
CPA license is preferred. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, as well as experience with Oracle ERP and Corptax software, is preferred. Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external authorities. Attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
