JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title : Production Technician                                    Reports To :   Shop Supervisor / Lead

Department :   Foundry / Spin Room                               FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Perform specialized operations to consistently spin or static pour parts with proper babbitt bond to backing materials.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS :

• Prepare production parts for tinning and spinning.
• Accountable for monitoring temperatures of all equipment used.
• Maintain Set-Up Book to record information.
• Daily maintenance of spin room equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
