Marine Deputy
This is the opportunity you have been waiting for. Serve our community by patrolling Kootenai County's beautiful waterways next summer (2026). This recruitment comes along once a year. No experience needed. We will train you. Testing consists of a written test, a physical agility test, and an oral board interview. You must be available to test on Saturday, December 20, 2025. Pay rate : $25.00 per hour. This would be a great fit for someone who : has an interest in law enforcement, is looking for a seasonal position, is comfortable with interviewing witnesses, and conducting preliminary investigations, and would enjoy fielding questions from the public and advising on basic law premises.
Do you qualify? You must have a High School Diploma or GED and twelve (12) months of work experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. You must have a driver's license and be insurable. Ability to operate patrol watercraft.
