Hospital project in St Petersburg, FL
Pay is $30 an hour
Shift : 6am to 3pm (Monday to Friday)
Will be doing underground and working with cast iron and PVC
Full time benefits starting on your 1st full month (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k and weekly pay)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled plumber with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing, specifically in new construction. The ideal candidate must have expertise in copper brazing and possess their own tools.

Responsibilities

Perform commercial plumbing in new construction, from rough to trim and fixture installations.

Cut and thread pipe with precision.

Read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.

Execute rough-ins above ground, including the installation of vents, sewers, connections, and waterlines.

Complete finish or trim-out installations, ensuring connections are ready for use, including toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and hardware.

Work with domestic water and sanitary systems.

Install fixtures, hangers, and pipe systems.

Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes.

Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures using measuring instruments.

Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and monitor pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.

Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.

Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers, water heaters, sinks, and toilets.

Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of plumbing systems or components.

Essential Skills

Commercial plumbing in new construction

Copper brazing

Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications

Ability to perform rough-ins and finish installations

Experience with domestic water and sanitary systems

Installation of fixtures, hangers, and pipe systems

Ability to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems according to specifications or codes

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in using tools like rulers and levels for measuring

Experience with pipe cutting and threading

Capability to detect and locate leaks using pressure gauges

Skill in assembling pipe sections using various tools and methods

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of St. Petersburg, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00 / hr.
