Job Description

Seeking an Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner (IDNP) in Morrison, IL for a full-time or part-time, onsite role involving multi-facility rounds.

_About the Role : _

You will combine clinical expertise with patient-centered care, serving as a strategic partner in infection prevention and control. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, implementing evidence-based guidelines, and supporting infection control and antimicrobial stewardship programs.

_What We Offer : _

Flexible schedule (Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM)
Competitive pay ($50 / hr or $104,000–$120,000 annually with incentives)

_Key Responsibilities : _

Perform physical exams and monitor patient conditions

Prescribe medications and treatment plans

Develop care policies and coordinate referrals

Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes

Proactively prevent complications and re-hospitalizations

_Qualifications : _

Current Nurse Practitioner license

Master’s Degree in Nursing

2+ years experience preferred, especially in infectious disease, geriatrics, or adult medicine

Strong communication skills with elderly and chronically ill patients

Ability to travel within a 20-25 mile radius
