Job descriptionPerform routine duties to operate various plastic molding / assembly machines producing a wide variety of molded parts. Visually scan for manufacturing defects, trim, sort, assemble, weigh / count and package parts. Make up boxes, record, verify production labels and operate grinder. Work from verbal and posted written instructions at the press. Maintain work area in neat and orderly manner. Housekeeping; maintaining the cleanliness and safety requirements Report on defective material and equipment Responsible for maintaining quality and quantity standards Follow the GMP rules, safety rules and wearing required protective clothing or items. All team members shall : Continue to grow job specific knowledge and use tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of the job. This job description does not contain every function / responsibility that may be required for the performance of this job. All team members are required to perform other related duties / functions as assigned. usually stand / walk most of their work day occasionally sit, stoop, kneel and crouch occasionally lift, push, pull up to 30-50 pounds use of specific vision abilities normally required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus infrequent use of finger / hand movements and keyboarding High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate preferred. Must be able to read / write / speak English Basic math proficiency Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical, Dental and VSP Vision Insurance Hoffer Plastics matches .50 per $1.00 dollar contributed each payroll period up to 6% plus a Safe Harbor contribution of an amount equal to 3% of employee's annual eligible earnings Paid Life Insurance in the amount of 1.5 times basic annual salary Short term and Long term Disability 2 Weeks Paid Vacation and up to 5 Days of Illinois Paid Leave. 9 Paid Holidays Reimbursements (Tuition, Prescription Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Shoe, and Fitness)

Starting Pay $17-$17.75 (based on experience) + 8% Shift Premium
3rd Shift Hours are 12 : 00am - 8 : 00am
