DIRECTOR of FINANCE (Permanent)
Our client, an established global organization headquartered in WNY, is looking to hire a Director of Finance to join their team. This is a newly created role and offers exceptional growth opportunities, international travel, and the ability to have an impact on a growing organization.
Responsibilities :
- Audit current & create new processes & strategies to increase the financial strength of the organization
- Implement forward-thinking models for profitability, forecasting, and working capital
- Manage liquidity planning, cash flows, and capital allocation tactics
- Ensure reporting is detailed and clear, presenting to key leadership team & Board members
- Collaborate with CFO to evaluate financial structures, analyze risk, and develop banking relationships to enhance borrowing capabilities
- Work alongside IT to analyze data infrastructures, make necessary adjustments, and ultimately streamline processes
- Create and continuously improve treasury and risk systems to support multinational growth
- Directly contribute to strategy development and modernization in finance, operations, and commercial areas of the business by offering educated recommendations to the leadership team
- Maintain positive working relationships with international trade partners, banks, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance is maintained at all times
- Work well both independently and in a team environment
- Work on several special projects at a given time, ensuring completion in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned / as necessary
