Our award-winning championship golf course , designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf , provides the perfect setting for an immersive, hands-on learning experience. As a Golf Course Maintenance Intern, you'll work closely with an experienced turf management team, gaining valuable exposure to daily maintenance operations, irrigation management, fertility programs, equipment operation, and tournament preparation.
This internship is ideal for students pursuing a career in golf course management, turfgrass science, or sports turf maintenance , and for those looking to experience the standards and expectations of a high-end private club environment.

This position will be part of a growing company with a portfolio of private, public and resort courses throughout the U.S. We offer cross-facility training, scholarships and opportunities to participate in the American Express (PGA TOUR) at PGA WEST or The Ford Championship (LPGA) at Whirlwind Golf Club.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Currently studying agronomy, turfgrass management or a similar degree.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
The golf course agronomy intern is responsible for learning the agronomics to produce playing conditions outlined in the course's business plan. This person will help attract and develop talent at all levels of golf course maintenance to create a highly functional team. This individual will also focus on the business of agronomy, technology, continuing education and long term strategic planning.
