Job description

As aCaregiver you will provide person-centered care to our residents supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering / bathing shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity independence and position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others.

Position Type : Full-Time

Available Shifts :

Nights (NOC) 11 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM (FT or PT)

Wage Range : $17 to $20 / hour depending on experience

Shift Differential : $2 / hour for Night shift

Bonus : Nights FT $1200

Nights PT $600

Location : 104 8thAve SouthPrinceton MN 55371

Were a short drive away from the following cities : Cambridge Zimmerman Dalbo Elk River Milaca Pease Foreston and St. Cloud.

Caregiver Responsibilities :

  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
  • Take and record temperature blood pressure weight pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties.
  • Document services performed on computerized charting system.
  • Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
  • Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude reaction and appetite to the supervisor.
  • Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following : shampooing of hair assist with showering / bathing fingernail and foot care and medication administration.
  • Pass medications.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver Qualifications :

  • Must have experienceas a Caregiver Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA).
  • Reliable.
  • Apassion for geriatric care.
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
