Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CT Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, evenings Employment Type : Travel Preferred : Minimum of 2 years of related CT experience. Schedule Notes : Duration : 13 weeks M-F 2 : 30P-1A, 4-10 hour shifts, and every 4th weekend, 2 : 30P-1A; Switch with another tech to cover RTO on weekend shifts. Cover 3rd shift vacation days Required : CT registered 2 years CT experience Preferred : Phillips CT, Bracco injector, EPIC, PACS : MCKESSON, OP, IP,& ER EXAMS : Cardiac, TAVR, CTA, Code stroke, HD, CAP, Spine CT Technologist Job Summary : Operates CT scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images of specified body parts as requested by physicians. Works independently with minimal supervision while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate image acquisition for radiologist interpretation. Key Responsibilities Greet patients, verify identification, and obtain relevant medical history. Review physician orders, medications, allergy information, and documentation. Explain procedures and address patient questions to ensure understanding. Anticipate and respond to patient and family needs, keeping them informed of delays or concerns. Communicate professionally with physicians, coworkers, and office staff. Position patients, perform scans, and archive images according to established protocols. Administer contrast media and medications per protocol or physician direction; label and document appropriately. Reconcile patient medications to prevent contraindications with contrast media. Utilize radiation safety and dose reduction techniques. Maintain and wear dosimeter properly; adhere to safety standards. Assist with invasive procedures and cross-train across modalities as needed. Follow hospital / Imaging Center policies and uphold organizational values. Use safe patient handling techniques to prevent injury. Required Skills & Experience Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation, and sterile techniques. Proficiency in patient positioning and operation of imaging equipment (CT / X-ray systems). Education & Credentials Required : Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program. Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Valid Ohio Radiographer License .
