Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Houston, TX 77004 (Texas nursing jobs) Unit : 7 South, South Tower – Med / Surg Telemetry Healthcare Setting : Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit Number of Beds : 20 Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 1 / 5 / 2026 – End : 4 / 6 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), every other weekend required Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360 - $1460 Dress Code : Royal Blue Scrubs Electronic Medical Record : Meditech Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state BLS certification (American Heart Association) Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience Flexible schedule availability, including 5 days per week and every other weekend Strong teamwork and positive attitude required Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in a 20-bed Med / Surg Telemetry unit Monitor and assess patients, including post-surgical and bariatric cases Perform clinical procedures : phlebotomy, wound care, tracheostomy care, and NG tube management Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team (Charge RN, RNs, CNAs) to achieve optimal patient outcomes Float to other Med / Surg units as needed Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR Adhere to hospital policies and unit guidelines Apply now to join our Houston healthcare team as a Travel Med / Surg Telemetry RN and take the next step in your nursing career!
