Office Manager
Manages overall office functions. Supervises office personnel. Works under the supervision of the Owner or Operating Manager and supervises receptionist and other office support staff.
Examples of duties and responsibilities include : responsible for overall agency word processing, typing, data collection and entry, preparation of reports, etc. Maintains schedules, logs, visit ledgers and other records as required. Maintains inventory of office and client care supplies. Maintains client records and general office files. Verifies accuracy of personal care provider daily reports. Assists with the billing process. Attends and participates actively in appropriate continuing education programs, including fiscal agent training. Performs other related functions as directed. Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of job performance. Complies with all applicable laws, regulations and standards in performance of job functions. Attends and participates in staff, education, and agency committee meetings as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications : Graduation from high school or equivalent. Business course desirable. At least one year of general clerical experience. Data entry and word processing skills. Knowledge of medical terminology desirable. Knowledge of simple bookkeeping practices. Ability to organize files, do general office work. Good communication, interpersonal and telephone skills. Ability to relate to the public and respect confidentiality of information. Tasks involve no occupational exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue.
