Senior Vice President, A&E + Multi-Family Services

About the Opportunity

SAY Group has been engaged by a nationally recognized leader in building consulting and professional services to identify a Senior Vice President to lead and expand their Architectural, Engineering, and Multi‑Family Development segments.

This is a player‑coach leadership role—perfect for a growth‑driven executive who thrives at the intersection of business development, strategic leadership, and team building. The right candidate will have the chance to shape go‑to‑market strategy, drive new revenue, and elevate the organization’s brand within one of the most competitive and high‑growth markets in the country.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing sales organization across A&E and multi‑family sectors.
  • Drive personal sales performance while modeling consultative, relationship‑based selling excellence.
  • Develop and execute strategic market plans targeting developers, REITs, property owners, and management firms.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with service leaders to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Lead complex deal cycles and executive‑level negotiations.
  • Identify and expand growth opportunities across the greater New York metro and emerging regional markets.
  • Represent your business segment in executive leadership and strategic planning forums.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of sales experience in architecture, engineering, or construction professional services.
  • 5+ years in sales leadership, with a proven record of leading high‑performing teams.
  • Track record as a player‑coach who balances leadership with personal revenue contribution.
  • Strong network within the A&E, real estate development, and property management communities.
  • Expertise in consultative, solution‑based selling to executive decision‑makers.
  • Deep understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance‑driven industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced technical or professional credential (PE, RA) preferred.

  • Base salary range : $180K–$200K, commensurate with experience
