About The Position

Job Title : Radiologic Tech

Profession : Radiologic Tech

Specialty : X-Ray

Duration : 17 weeks

Shift : 7 am to 7 pm

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Two years current experience in specialty required

License : NM RRT state licensing required

Certifications : Current BLS, ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred

Must-Have :

• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

Description :

Floating between departments and local locations within a 20-mile radius is required.

Performs diagnostic medical radiography.

Participates in CIT teams as necessary.

Is knowledgeable regarding hospital policies and procedures.

Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance, safety.

Performs radiographic examinations.

Checks equipment, supplies, and accessories on a regular basis.

Required to maintain the necessary stock of supplies for each radiography room.

Develops film including evaluating film for technical quality.

Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.

Transports patients to the radiographic room and prepares and maintains the room.

Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.

Attends meetings as required.
