Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with a valid CA license, ARRT credentials, and at least 2 years of mammography experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a mammography department within a hospital setting
  • Diagnostic mammography and related radiology procedures are performed
  • 5x8 hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with every other weekend required
  • Uses Epic EMR with Epic experience preferred
  • Patient population consists of adult women requiring diagnostic mammography
  • Must be willing to complete onboarding modules during orientation via e-learning
  • Return staff must have a minimum 1-year break before returning as a traveler
  • Only one holiday request for time off will be approved during the assignment
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
  • Locals are accepted at a local rate

  • Current CA state license required if applicable
  • ARRT (M) Mammography and ARRT (R) Radiologic Technologist certifications required
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant mammography experience required
  • Ability to complete required lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Must be able to provide 2 recent supervisor references
