Estimated Weekly Salary : $1510 - $1620 per week

PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent PACU, recovery room, or critical care nursing experience

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

PACU RN Responsibilities

Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures

Assess patient status, recognize complications, and provide timely interventions

Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians

Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on post-operative care, recovery, and discharge instructions

Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation
