Job Description

Avery Dennison is seeking a Quality Engineer that is a highly motivated problem solver to lead supplier improvement and critical ISO systems.

In this role, the successful candidate will bring passion, determination and a sense of urgency to drive a world class quality culture to Graphics operations. You will work closely with the site operations and broader divisional quality organization in Graphics, engineering and supply chain to ensure business success in a leading company where individual and team success are recognized and rewarded.

Key responsibilities include :

• Lead Supplier Quality Improvement initiatives driving corrective action and managing the raw material rejection process to minimize internal losses and impact to HOLD accrual
• Maintain and improve reporting tools for critical quality metrics
• Lead quality projects to support the operations quality strategy improving reduction in customer claims in the market and / or reducing internal losses
• Participate in daily and weekly Management for Daily Improvement process and support quality related actions
• Lead customer and internal corrective action requests implementing countermeasures to prevent recurrence
• Establish and assess quality testing standards and required frequencies based on risk and product requirements
• Analyze data trends to understand capability of critical to quality attributes measured in testing
• Site Calibration Quality lead and review of inspection equipment adequacy and needs
• Perform other tasks or project work as assigned
