Contribute to student learning and school stability as a Substitute Paraprofessional. This on-call role provides classroom support during staff absences and helps keep students engaged and on track.
Requirements :
Michigan Paraprofessional Certificate OR 60 college credit hours
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children, youth, or special populations preferred
Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail
Ability to follow school procedures and maintain confidentiality
Responsibilities :
Assist with classroom instruction under teacher guidance
Support students’ learning and behavior during school hours
Help supervise transitions, lunch, and playground activities
Provide one-on-one or group academic support
Maintain student confidentiality and follow school policies
Ideal for those looking to support schools on a flexible, per-diem basis.
Hours are not guaranteed and shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis according to school needs.
