Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Dental Assistant to support a hospital-based dental clinic during an extended leave coverage period. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative clinical environment assisting with patient care and ensuring efficient daily operations in a state healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Provide chairside support for dental exams fillings and extractions

Perform authorized dental X-rays

Answer phones manage scheduling and coordinate with clinical and specialty teams

Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care

Maintain accurate clinic records and ensure timely documentation

Monitor manage and replenish dental supply inventory

Clean decontaminate sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment

Support efficient clinic workflow and deliver excellent patient service

Requirements

Arizona Radiological Proficiency Certificate

Minimum 6 months of dental assisting experience

FPCC required

Strong communication organization and multitasking skills

Ability to provide oral health education and maintain medical / dental records
