Senior Electrical Engineer (Indianapolis)

Hybrid Schedule 2 in the office 3 from home

Pharma / FDA / Semiconductor / Clean Room

Responsibilities :

• Engineering and design oversight for medium and low voltage power distribution, UPS / Generators, Lighting, Grounding, Fire Alarm, Security, Public Address (PA), Telecomm and Heat Trace systems.
• Evaluate the desired goal of the system and develop, design, or select the required equipment or power / controls to achieve the goal.
• Perform calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for industrial applications.
• Direct activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements
• Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer
• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited program
• Professional Engineer license in IN or ability to obtain
• At least 15 years of experience in electrical engineering design of buildings
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Ability to perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination, and arc flash
• Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered
• Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited program

• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
• Passionate about buildings and construction
