Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,432 per week in Albuquerque, NM

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Progressive Care Unit Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 1900-0730 Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Two (2) years current experience required in an 18-plus bed telemetry / progressive care unit. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. License : State Nursing License required. Certifications : BLS, ACLS certifications. Must-Have : Candidates must successfully pass a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test. Description : Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required. Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients. Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient / family and healthcare team. Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care. Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy. Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care. Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel. Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment. Epic EMR experience is preferred. NIHSS certification is preferred.
