Tax Preparer(Seasonal)

Established Tax Firm in Scottsdale, AZ

• Seasonal Position (September to Mid-May)

Opportunity for part-time work in the summer

Requirements :

On-Site

EA or CPA License preferred

Proficiency of Lacerte and intuit software

Proven work experience as a tax preparer in the last 6 years.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Accurately prepare personal, business and trust tax returns.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.

Excellent references.

Responsibilities :

Recording financial transactions accurately and efficiently using Lacerte software.

Accurately prepare personal tax returns.

Business and trust tax return preparation experience a plus.

Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy of financial data.

Assisting with payroll processing and tax filings.

Communicating with clients to gather financial information and resolve any discrepancies.

Maintaining organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

Collaborating with team members to support overall tax preparation operations.

Following established tax preparation principles and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Tax law knowledge and ability to perform research as needed.
