Looking for an experienced RN to join our prestigious Interventional Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab. Our catheterization facilities are among the most advanced in the world. The hospital manages 5,500 coronary and peripheral cases per year through this facility and it features six angiographic procedure rooms and a twelve bay prep and recovery area. You will play a critical role in patient care and comfort, ensuring patients have a positive experience from check-in through recovery and discharge. You are responsible for ongoing patient assessment taking patients and working with a multidisciplinary team to prepare patients for their procedures, circulating throughout procedures, and monitoring patients post-procedure to ensure their recovery goes smoothly. Successful candidate will be flexible and a compassionate caregiver with an advanced knowledge of arrhythmia interpretation. Qualifications Current MA RN license required BSN strongly preferred Strong clinical background in cardiology preferred and 2-3 years Cath Lab or CCU / ICU experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Effective communication skills, collaborative approach and critical thinking Ability to work four ten hour shifts and take after hour and weekend call as assigned. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
