Job Description

As a Security Officer - Distribution Center - Full Time in Whitestown, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will include conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. By communicating clearly and responding promptly to situations, you will contribute to a secure environment. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and / or delivery personnel with site-specific access procedures and information.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to maintain order within the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and identify any irregularities.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management, including facilitating evacuations or lockdowns as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
