Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Support & Systems Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of all systems.

  • Candidates must be in the Hampton Roads / Peninsula VA area to be considered

Responsibilities

  • Manage Hybrid Authentication Environment (Office 365 and On-Premise)
  • Organize Remote Desktop access and administration
  • Maintain over 50 user accounts, mobile devices and computers.
  • Understand Federated Access or Single Sign On authentication in a hybrid / mixed environment
  • Prepare and Implement Disaster Recovery Procedures for Servers and End-users
  • Implement Intune for PC Policies and Mobile Policies
  • Support remote users with Sonicwall Netextender and Global Connect VPN
  • InTune and End-user support for 40-50 Android phones
  • Ensure End-User system security compliance with Operating System and Software updates
  • Administer and Manage additional software to include Wennsoft Mobile Technician, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, OnSite, and Wasatch

    • Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT role
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across departments
  • Extensive knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server and Windows 11)
  • Thorough Understanding of SQL Operations (Security, Authentication, Procedures)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator) are preferred but not mandatory
