• Work 12-hour day shifts
• Utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for medical diagnosis
• Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions
• Administer contrast materials to patients
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
• Position patients to capture appropriate images
• Perform quality control procedures on equipment
• Use independent judgment and apply all radiation safety standards
• Provide coverage for other areas within the Radiology Department
• Perform radiologic diagnostic procedures when acting as Radiologic Technologist
• Adhere to proper radiation safety procedures
• Maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology program required
• Two years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging required
• CT Registry preferred
• Strong computer skills required
• A.R.R.T. registered required
• RT / CT Registry certification required
• Current Nevada X-ray License required
