JOB SUMMARY
The Sterile Processing Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership for the Sterile Processing Department with minimal supervision and reports directly to the Sterile Processing Manager. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient reprocessing of flexible scopes and high-level disinfected (HLD) products.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in all stages of the endoscopy reprocessing cycle, including :
The Sterile Processing Supervisor will demonstrate the ability to identify defects, maintain accurate tracking logs within SPM, perform quality testing, and help ensure zero-defect scope availability to support safe, timely patient care.
Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong workflow discipline, and consistent commitment to infection prevention and safety protocols in a high-volume, fast-paced Endoscopy environment.
Schedule : M-F, 8 hour shifts.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
High School Diploma
5 years experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
Required Certifications (upon hire) :
CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or CBSPD equivalent
CHL (Certified Healthcare Leader) through HSPA or CBSPD equivalent
Preferred
3 years of previous supervisory or management experience in Endoscopy reprocessing or sterile processing with a focus on flexible scopes.
