We are seeking a dependable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1–2 years of dental assisting experience, enjoy working with children, and be eager to contribute to a positive and supportive team culture. Hourly rate up to $30, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the pediatric dentist during exams and procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Chart patient notes accurately and efficiently
- Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Maintain dental supply inventory and order as needed
- Create a calm, engaging atmosphere for pediatric patients
Must have's to be successful
1–2 years minimum experience as a Dental Assistant (Required)Prior experience in a pediatric dental office is strongly preferredAbility to prioritize, organize and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused attitudeAbility to work well with children and as part of a collaborative teamAttention to detailWell-organized and reliable.Qualifications
Must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent (required).Dental Certification : Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certificate, OR Graduate from a formal accredited dental assisting school in accordance with Florida Administrative Code Rule : 64B5-16.002Must have reliable transportation and valid license
