AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) in Amarillo, Texas, 79106!

$2,226 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Occupational Therapist

Profession : Therapy / Rehabilitation

Specialty : Acute Care Hospital

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (08 : 00 - 17 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 1 year required

License : Texas state license required

Certifications : BLS, NBCOT

Must-Have :

  • Accepts first-time travelers
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Description :

Occupational Therapist position available for a Monday to Friday schedule.

The hours are from 08 : 00 to 17 : 00, including a weekend rotation.

Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Candidates must possess BLS and NBCOT certifications.

Knowledge in the following areas is essential :

  • Above and below knee prosthetics
  • Acute care settings
  • Arthritis rehabilitation
  • Biofeedback and electrical stimulation techniques
  • Edema massage and feeding techniques
  • Hand injuries, hip fractures, and total hip replacements
  • Knee injuries and total knee replacements
  • Soft tissue injuries and TENS therapy
  • Ultrasound therapy and upper extremity prosthetics

    • The patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics.

    The daily census average is 8-10.
