WSP's Visualization and Data Intelligence (VDI) national practice provides expert support for professional services consulting initiatives. WSP is seeking an Application Developer to join the VDI Web Team in Buffalo, NY ; consideration will also be given to candidates based at other WSP office locations . The successful candidate will support a variety of consulting projects of differing complexity and duration, collaborating closely with colleagues and clients within a dynamic and adaptable work environment. The team's approach integrates aspects of both agile (scrum) and traditional (waterfall) development methodologies, tailored to meet client requirements and project objectives.

As an integral member of the team, you will contribute to various web development projects while enhancing your technical expertise, collaborative capabilities, and professional competencies. Your Impact

• Assist in the architecture, development, and launching and maintenance of scalable .NET web applications.
• Collaboratively work on front-end development with a focus on accessibility and responsiveness.
• Implement UI / UX design execution in web applications.
• Contribute to technical specs and contribute to core code and documentation.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues, bugs, and optimize performance.
• Support, enhance, and maintain legacy systems.
• Mentor team members.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Compensation :

Expected Salary (all locations) : $100,000 - $130,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and / or federal law.
