JOB SUMMARY
An Outdoor Lighting Perspective Operations Manager plays an active role in the research, planning and implementation of strategies that align with department and company goals, as established by the franchise owner. You are expected to lead by example, hiring and motivating staff to meet and exceed their personal and professional goals while maintaining a positive and rewarding work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct supervision of 1-2 employees, with heavy involvement in the hiring, orientation, training, development, performance management, leadership and advancement of all staffProvides regular and recurring goal setting, mentoring & feedback to all direct reportsEnsures that all employees are formally reviewed at least once per yearIdentifies potential leaders and develop them for advancement accordinglyContinuous strategic planning, including suggested changes to vision and business plansSustains a work environment that builds positive professional relationships, creates accountability and rewards performanceDetermines operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, capacity planning, and cost / benefit analyses, and establishes productivity, quality, and customer-service standardsProactively suggests, creates or modifies and implements policies and procedures that maintain profitabilityObjectives by estimating requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actionsPrepares performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trendsMaintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in operations management, attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and participating in professional societiesWorking occasional nights to perform night time demonstrations or nighttime adjustmentsInstallation and servicing of low voltage lighting and holiday lightingESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Minimum of 1-year industry experience preferred, and / or3 years management experience; or any combination of the aboveComputer skills, with a strong working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programsAbility to successfully pass a background check, including a clean driving record, and other pre-employment screeningPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
