What Next We are currently reviewing resumes for a Fixed Wire Bender Appliance Technician.

As a Fixed Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the lab in fulfilling work orders and prescriptions by bending wires onto patient models for fixed orthodontic appliances.  Upon receipt of models and prescriptions, using DLCPM, review prescriptions and doctor preferences.  Successfully read and interpret doctor preferences and written preference specifications onto models.

Using pliers and appropriate hand tools, bend wires according to doctor preferences.

Responsible for the successful installation of wires onto molds per doctor’s preferences and prescription details, also mounting molds when applicable.

Upon successful completion of wire installation, forward to QC for final approval.

Responsible for making required adjustments as needed for successful order completion.
