Internal Job Description – CT / X-Ray Technologist

Radius Rule :

Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility (verified using driver’s license at submission).

Candidates may NOT be full-time, part-time, or PRN at any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility.

Additional Requirements :

Radiation badge provided by client.

Fingernail policy : Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas. Refusal to remove artificial nails will result in termination of the contract.

Required Equipment Experience :

GE VCT 64-slice CT

GE Revolution 128-slice CT

GE CT scanners

Epic EMR

Department Equipment / Modalities :

MRI : 2 rooms

CT : 4 rooms

X-ray : 3 rooms + Endo, OR, and portables

Nuclear Medicine : 2 rooms + PET

Ultrasound : 3 rooms

Interventional Radiology : 2 rooms

Mammography : 3 rooms

Floating Requirements :

May float to :

CT

X-ray

OR

Endoscopy

Emergency Department (ED)

Common Studies & Job Duties :

Wide range of CT and X-ray exams

OR and endoscopy support

Emergency and trauma imaging

Portable imaging as needed

Must be comfortable working in multiple modalities

Experience / Must-Have Skills :

CT or X-ray background required (CT strongly preferred)

Ability to work with GE CT platforms

Strong adaptability across modalities

Systems : EMR : Epic

PACS : McKesson

Shifts & Scheduling :

Shift varies; schedule created by Supervisor

Self-scheduling or block scheduling not guaranteed

Weekend Requirements :

Required, schedule varies

Holiday Requirements :

Required

Call / Standby : Yes, required

Response time varies (details provided during interview)

Orientation :

1–2 shifts of unit-specific orientation

RTO Policy :

All RTO must be submitted upfront (maximum 7 days per 13-week contract)
