Schedule / Hours : Monday-Saturday

Morning shift 9 : 00 am 12 : 00 pm

Evening Shift 5 : 00 PM 8 : 00 PM

Pay : $12.41 per hour

This position is responsible for :

The Driver is responsible for safely operating a Salvation Army vehicle to transport passengers, Red Kettle equipment, and other materials to designated locations. Primary duties include providing reliable transportation for bell ringers to and from kettle sites and the Corps, as well as picking up and delivering Angel Tree donations and other items as needed. The Driver must operate the vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws, maintain awareness of road and weather conditions, and ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times. Additional responsibilities include logging mileage accurately, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, refueling according to regulations, and securing the vehicle when not in use. The Driver may also assist by providing bell-ringing relief during breaks and must uphold The Salvation Army's standards of conduct and Christian values while on duty.

Key Responsibilities :

• Transport passengers and equipment Safely drive a Salvation Army vehicle to transport bell ringers, Red Kettle equipment, and donations to assigned locations.
• Pick up and deliver items Collect and deliver Angel Tree donations and other miscellaneous items as needed.
• Ensure vehicle safety and maintenance Drive carefully, comply with all traffic laws, fuel the vehicle properly, and keep it clean and secure when not in use.
• Maintain accurate records Log mileage, record kettle pickup times, and report any delays or issues as required.
• Support kettle operations Provide assistance to bell ringers, including offering break relief and ensuring safe, professional behavior at all times.
