Position Overview

We\'re looking for a skilled and imaginative Video Editor / Videographer to join our Brand & Creative team. Reporting directly to the Video Producer, this role will focus primarily on video editing (85%), with the remaining time dedicated to video shooting (15%). The ideal candidate is passionate about precise editing and compelling storytelling, with a strong grasp of the latest editing tools, production techniques, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality video content for various projects, including promotional videos, docu-style features, performance marketing, direct-response and social media content.
  • Work closely with the video producer and marketing team to bring video concepts to life that meet the project objectives.
  • Maintain and operate a variety of video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear, with the ability to handle lighting, sound, and interview setups.
  • Edit video footage to create engaging and polished final products. Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other editing tools to achieve desired effects, ensuring quick turnarounds and faster editing.
  • Adapt and cut-down video content for different platforms, ensuring optimal performance on each
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines, meeting deadlines, and staying organized.
  • Ensure all video content meets high standards of quality and brand consistency, with attention to detail in every aspect of production.
  • Apply videographer workflow knowledge and the ability to edit projects from creative briefs, while demonstrating proactive problem solving and the ability to take direction well.
  • Stay updated with the latest video production trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve skills and bring fresh ideas to the team.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Serve as a member of the Brand & Creative Team and support others as necessary.
  • Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs.
  • Actively and positively contribute to the overall success of the company through regular contributions to the general management of the company.
  • Participate and provide leadership in inter-departmental meetings, projects and informal activities.
  • Support the company and other departments wherever and whenever your skills and experience would be beneficial.
  • Education

    1. Bachelor\'s degree in Video Production, Multimedia, Filmmaking or a related field is preferred.

    Experience and Skills

    1. Minimum of 5 years of professional, commercial business experience in video editing and videography.

    2. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and experience with video equipment (cameras, lighting, audio gear).

    3. Proficiency in motion design software like Adobe After Effects is a plus.

    4. Experience with Frame.io and Monday.com is a plus.

    5. Strong editing and storytelling abilities, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of video editing projects and marketing objectives.

    6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

    7. Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

    8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    9. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

    10. Proactive problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
