Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in CNC programming and a strong understanding of machining processes. Operating and program of CNC Mill & Lathes machines, with a strong expertise in Mastercam. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, aerospace environment.
What We OfferCompetitive pay based on experience up to $45.00 per hourOvertime opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with a company matchPaid time off + 12 paid holidaysKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and lathe operations.Interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentationDevelop and optimize programs using Mastercam creating programs using 2D prints, solid models, and designing tooling / fixing if neededProgram, set-up, and operate CNC milling machines and lathes.Conduct setup of CNC machines, including tooling adjustments based on job specifications.Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure optimal part production.Troubleshoot machining issues and provide solutions to improve operational efficiency.Mentor and train junior machinists and contribute to process improvements.Other duties assigned by department manager.What We’re Looking For5+ years of CNC machining experience, including programming from scratchExpertise in Mastercam, able to program Lathes and 4-axis MillsAbility to inspect your own work using precision measurement toolsProblem-solving mindset with attention to detail and craftsmanshipProven experience in CNC programming with a strong background in manufacturing and machining environments.In-depth knowledge of mechanical principles, geometry, tooling, and blueprint reading is essential.Experience with precision measuring instruments is required to ensure quality control throughout production runs.Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
